Global Skills Passport T/A Amelhu Ltd.
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This policy explains how Global Skills Passport T/A Amelhu Ltd. (we, our, us) handles personal information when you visit www.globalskillspassport.com, contact us, request a Business Case Kit or use employer-funded account and programme services.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers website visitors, prospective employer customers, employer administrators and employees accessing Global Skills Passport. We are responsible for the personal information we collect for our own enquiries, business relationships and account administration.
Where information is processed on an employer's behalf, the respective responsibilities must be set out in the employer agreement and any applicable data-processing terms. Your employer's own privacy notice also applies to information it collects and uses independently.
2. Information we collect
- Employer enquiries: the contact and organisation details, programme information, message and privacy acknowledgement you provide.
- Business Case Kit requests: first and last name, company name, work email, optional phone number, restructure response and optional marketing-consent choice.
- Accounts and access: email address, authentication information, employer or programme association, activation status, entitlement tier and access dates.
- Request and download records: submission timestamps, campaign source or referring website classification, and records of authorised PowerPoint download requests.
- Service and technical records needed to operate accounts, handle activation attempts, troubleshoot problems and protect access.
We receive information directly from you, from your interactions with the site and, where relevant, from the employer administering your programme. Please do not include sensitive personal information or other people's confidential information in enquiry forms.
CV-based skills analysis and AI career tools are described on the site as capabilities in preparation. Illustrative examples are not real employee records or live SIIO outputs. Before additional tools process CVs, career information or AI conversations, the relevant processing details must be provided in an updated notice.
3. Why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide the requested Business Case Kit, manage employer relationships, administer accounts and activation codes, confirm programme access, provide aggregate programme reporting, measure kit submissions and download starts, and maintain the service.
The legal basis depends on the activity: taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract with you; legitimate interests in managing business enquiries, employer-funded access, service reliability and security; compliance with applicable legal obligations; or consent where required, including optional marketing.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, your interests and rights must also be considered. A privacy acknowledgement is not blanket consent to unrelated processing.
4. Employer visibility
Employer reporting is aggregate programme reporting, including licences purchased, codes issued and activations. Employers do not receive individual career searches, AI conversations or skills-gap details through that reporting.
Your employer may separately know who it issued an activation code to. Information it holds independently is governed by its own responsibilities and privacy notice.
5. Business Case Kit and marketing
Requesting the kit saves your submission and sends a notification to the Global Skills Passport team so we can respond to your request. A download-start event records a request through the authorised download link; it does not confirm that you saved or opened the file.
The marketing checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Declining it does not prevent a kit request. If you opt in, that choice is recorded. You may withdraw marketing consent using an unsubscribe option in a marketing message or by contacting us. Service responses to your enquiry are separate from marketing.
6. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be handled by providers supporting hosting, account authentication, data storage and email delivery, and by authorised people responding to enquiries and administering the service. Kit reporting is restricted to platform administrators; visitor submissions are not publicly readable.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights or in accordance with your verified instructions. If a service involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, the applicable transfer arrangements and safeguards must meet the relevant data-protection requirements. Contact us for details relevant to your information.
7. How long information is kept
Information should be retained only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including enquiry handling, account and programme administration, legal obligations and the establishment or defence of legal claims. Different record types may require different retention periods.
Expiry of an employee licence does not by itself delete an account or historical programme records. You may contact us to request deletion or ask about retention of a particular record; applicable legal requirements may affect what can be deleted.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the processing, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Contact us to exercise a right. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity. Requests are handled within the time limits required by applicable law, with any lawful limitations or extensions explained to you.
You may complain to your local data-protection authority. In Ireland, the Data Protection Commission provides information at www.dataprotection.ie.
9. Cookies and browser storage
Account access uses browser storage. For information about cookies, similar technologies and browser controls, read our Cookie Policy.
10. Contact us

11. Changes to this policy
